Case Study

The Client: A food manufacturer with an eCommerce store front.

The Challenge: Client had a highly seasonal spike in business every year, but going into their “high season” was seeing recent Month-over-Month results drop instead of climb. Something was obviously wrong… 

The Solution: They hired Jessica (BetterAve Chief Strategist) to conduct an email marketing audit, including a review of technical setup and inbox placement. 

The Goods: After the initial meeting, Jess found a change in the client’s website setup that had unintentionally removed a technical authentication, causing all their emails to be sent straight to the spam folder. She alerted the client right away and worked with them to resolve it, using hours from the audit project to prioritize the fix. 

The Outcome: The fix resulted in an immediate impact, showing sales from email marketing campaigns on the very next send. The seasonal uptick in eCommerce sales started the following week and reached nearly Year-over-Year parity after a slow start!
